Conducting surveys on consumers is very important for ones business.  It can also improve your ROI by allowing your company to be more efficient in sales & marketing.  When conducting these surveys thinking outside of the box and throwing in some odd questions could make it more interesting for the consumer.  I came across a great article with a sampling of factoids from some new consumer studies and surveys, ranging from weird, to obvious, to just plain ridiculous.
