National Philanthropy Day 2016

Every day we pour our hearts into MacKenzie’s mission to be curious, creative, and customer-centric in everything we do.

An outward-thinking mentality carries over into other aspects of our lives, one of which is the ability to positively impact our community. We have close partnerships with The Ronald McDonald House, Girls Inc., and other incredibly giving organizations.

This charitable arm of our culture is always reaching for new opportunities, so we were thrilled to attend The Association of Fundraising Professionals as they celebrated National Philanthropy Day.

As described on the event’s website, “National Philanthropy Day (NPD) is a special day set aside for the purpose of recognizing the great contribution philanthropy makes to our society and to honor individuals, businesses, and support organizations that are active in the philanthropic community.”

We had the pleasure of joining over 800 of Orange County’s prominent citizens to learn about thriving philanthropic groups and organizations. There were incredible speakers, inspiring awards, and a beautifully decorated environment in which everyone shared the common interest of bettering our communities.

Award recipients shared some of their proudest philanthropic achievements, local charitable groups were honored in recognition of their efforts throughout the past year, and we had the pleasure of networking with Orange County’s best and brightest.

Hope to see you there next year!
